Conference Overview
This
conference, first held in Lake Placid, NY in 1982, has traditionally been a
forum for presenting the latest developments in spectroscopic research
utilizing vibrational spectroscopies. Each of the previous twelve conferences
has attracted approximately 150 participants from all over the world.
The Thirteenth International Conference on Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy
(TRVS XIII) will be held in the heart of the historical town of
Freising. The site is easily reached
by public transportation (S-Bahn) from the
Munich international airport and downtown
Munich. Housing, meals and scientific presentations
will be held in the same building and will allow intensive exchange of ideas
between the participants.
A limited number of Postdeadline Posters will be
considered if submitted prior to May 1, 2007.
Covered Topics
Most recent research in time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy - methods and
applications - will be presented, including the following topical areas:
- Liquid and Solution Vibrational Dynamics
- Surface Vibrational Dynamics
- Multi-dimensional Methods in Time-resolved
Vibrational Spectroscopy (Infrared and Raman)
- Fundamental Applications in Organic Photochemistry
- Fundamental Applications in Biological Systems
- Fundamental Applications in Solid State Systems
- Protein and Macromolecular Dynamics
- Gas Phase Vibrational Dynamics
- Theoretical Developments
- New Principles and Techniques
