Ultrafast Phenomena XVI, Springer Series in Chemical Physics 92, P. Corkum, S. De Silvestri, K.A. Nelson, E. Riedle, R.W. Schoenlein, eds. (Springer-Verlag, Berlin Heidelberg 2009), 355-357

Abstract:
With femtosecond infrared spectrsocopy and ab initio calculations we could assign the transient spectrum at 1 ps to the ring opened product of the dihydroazulene photoinduced reaction. Thus, ring-opening proceeds within 1 ps.
